Michelle was born and in raised in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. She attended Cape Breton University where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts Community Studies, with a concentration in Political Science. Upon graduation, she moved to Calgary, Alberta where she worked in two busy law firms, which provided confirmation that a legal career was the right choice for her.

Michelle moved down under to complete her Juris Doctor at Bond University in Australia’s beautiful Gold Coast. Since returning to Canada, Michelle has been accredited by the National Committee on Accreditation, and most recently completed her articles and has been admitted to the Alberta Bar.

Michelle is thrilled about joining the team at Don Scott Law Office, her practice focuses primarily on family law, assisting clients in creating wills, powers of attorney and personal directives, as well as completing real estate transactions. Michelle is eager to expand her knowledge of the law.

Michelle is proud to call Fort McMurray home, where she lives with her husband Nick. She loves baking, travelling, walking her dog, and spending time with family and friends.

Michelle deals with estate matters, civil litigation and wrongful dismissal.
