Dango’s practice focuses primarily on assisting corporations and individuals with immigration, general corporate and commercial matters, private mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring and organization. Her related experience includes negotiating, drafting and analyzing corporate agreements, negotiating and drafting purchase and sale agreements, preparing opinions on various legal issues and assisting clients in conducting corporate due diligence. She acts for clients in a broad range of sectors including mining and mineral exploration, oil and gas, real estate, retail, food and beverages, transportation, etc.

 

Dango represents and advises corporate and individual clients on real estate maters in connection with the acquisition, disposition, leasing and financing of their commercial, industrial and residential properties.

In her immigration practice, Dango assists individuals, companies and their executives with a wide variety of immigration and citizenship matters. She provides advice and assistance with immigration and citizenship applications, including applications for work and study permits, temporary resident visas, permanent residence and Canadian Citizenship. Dango has successfully represented clients before the Immigration and Refugee Board. She has extensive experience in citizenship, immigration and refugee matters.

Dango assists and advises clients on private, domestic and international adoption matters. She also advises and assists clients in creating wills, trusts, powers of attorney, personal directives and related estate planning documents.

In addition, Dango represents clients in a broad range of civil litigation matters, including business and commercial disputes, corporate shareholder disputes, debt recovery matters, estate and insurance disputes, and wrongful dismissal. She has represented clients before the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta and the Provincial Court of Alberta.

Prior to joining the legal profession Dango was a journalist. Outside the office, Dango teaches business law at Keyano College and Sunday school at All Nations Church.

Dango is a strong community leader and volunteers on many non-profit boards. She  currently sits as the Chair of the Multicultural Association of Wood Buffalo, Chair of King's Kids Promotion Outreach Ministries, Vice Chair of UCB Canada, and Director of Legacy Counseling Centre.
